- Greetings,
- I just bought myself an old Amiga 500 computer, but the o
- monitor was entriely broken (1084S ? is that possible), I would like
- to know, was this monitor able to do overscan (640x400x16c) proprely without
- flicker (in that case I will repair it), or would it be better off to buy a
- new monitor ?? (640x200x16c kills my eyes)
-
- Furthermore, I would like to know what resolutions are available on the Amiga
- 500, with the Denise Chip, I'm not very experienced (my first foray in the
- Amiga world), but I know there is a HAM mode in 320x200, will this work on
- my computer ? And I would like to know if my computer also supports the
- half-brite mode (and what it is exactly ?). Thanks in advance!
