  14.                I just bought myself an old Amiga 500 computer, but the o
  15. monitor was entriely broken (1084S ? is that possible), I would like
  16. to know, was this monitor able to do overscan (640x400x16c) proprely without 
  17. flicker (in that case I will repair it), or would it be better off to buy a 
  18. new monitor ?? (640x200x16c kills my eyes)

  20. Furthermore, I would like to know what resolutions are available on the Amiga 
  21. 500, with the Denise Chip, I'm not very experienced (my first foray in the 
  22. Amiga world), but I know there is a HAM mode in 320x200, will this work on 
  23. my computer ? And I would like to know if my computer also supports the 
  24. half-brite mode (and what it is exactly ?). Thanks in advance!
